Policy Change as of Jan 1st 2027

Notice of Policy Changes

Effective January 1, 2027, the following policy changes will go into effect at Starwood.

Deposit Policy

Holiday & Vacation Peak Reservations

• Holiday and Vacation Peak reservation deposits will remain $75.00.

• Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable for cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice.

• Cancellations made with 72 hours or more notice will receive credit to the customer's account. Deposits are not refundable.

Standard Reservations

• Reservation deposits will increase from $25.00 to $38.00.

• All standard reservation deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of the reason for cancellation or the amount of notice provided.

Holiday & Peak Season Rates

Beginning January 1, 2027, the $3.00 per day Peak Season Rate will increase to $5.00

The following holidays will continue to be charged at the Peak Season Rate:

• Memorial Day Weekend

• Fourth of July Weekend

• Labor Day Weekend

• Thanksgiving Week

• Christmas Week

These changes help offset the increased staffing required during our busiest times of the year and ensure we maintain proper staffing levels in accordance with state regulations while continuing to provide exceptional care for every pet.

Facility Closure Dates

The facility will be closed for all drop-offs and pick-ups on the following holidays:

• Independence Day (July 4)

• Thanksgiving Day

• Christmas Day

Early Pick-Up Fee

The Early Pick-Up Fee will increase from $25.00 to $38.00.

This fee applies when a dog is picked up one or more days earlier than the original reservation after check-in. The fee helps offset the reserved kennel space and staffing that was scheduled for the original length of the stay.
